You gave us your Private IP, we need the Public IP.

ARGHHH for some reason I can't get the server to show up in the list.

Working on that now.

Duhhh and where would I find the public IP address?

IB a noob and Sh!t

LOL... 😛

If it's on a system on a router, you need to give us your main IP and then setup your router to route incomming connections on whatever port to the server machine.

Or something like that.

Oh...duhhh

The server WAS showing up earlier today, and yesterday. Now for some reason it wont. 🙁

Before I was starting the game from THIS computer though the game is installed on the server box. Now I'm trying to run it FROM the server and it's not showing up.

I have a hub in my room with both the server box and my main box plugged into that. Then a cable going from THAT hub to a HUB/Router in another room with the cable modem plugged into that.

I'm sorta a noob at this sort of thing, am I messing up someplace?

I just tryed it again.

If I start it from my main box and check gamespy and dedicated, it shows up. If I do the same from the server (start the game from there) it doesn't show up.

Am I stupid and missing something obvious here?

I'm thinking it may be because I installed it onto the server from THIS computer.

Reinstalling now, to see if THAT fixes the problem.
