help me stop this horrifying win xp feature

i tend to have many AIM chat windows open at a time, at the bottom, the taskbar, it like shrinks all the AIM windows into one, and i have to click on it and select a subwindow from it. this happens when i have a lot of windows open. i find this very annoying especially with browsers and my chats. is there anyway i can disable this piece of crap? 😀

Right click on the taskbar, go to properties, uncheck group similar taskbar buttons.

Right click the task bar and uncheck "Hide inactive Icons". They will stay put then.
