i'm lookin to buy 1 of 3 things for around $350-400. An LCD or a Digi Cam or a hard drive mp3 player (ipod, jukebox, etc..)

right now i have a 21 inch CRT, a regular cd player, and nothing comparible to the digi cam
 
You don't have the digicam, yet, so you should go for that. They become very handy for every day use, once you have one for a little while.

Look at a Canon A70 or s400. A Sony DCS-P92 would be another good option.
 
I've found the digital camera to be invaluable for several applications. Do you sell stuff on eBay?

If you buy a digital camera, don't settle for less than excellent photos! Otherwise, you might as well get a 35mm and an LCD.
