How about you start out with some research for yourself? 😉 For a first build, you should really do some research so you get in the hang of things. Then get a general idea and ask us to proof read it. I can list some specs that I would go by, but after you get a little more expierence 🙂
check out anantech's price guides and search the forums for a good start
For starters, I've done my research. This certainly isn't going to be the first computer I've built. I've done around 200.
I have a general idea. I posted it above. I'm asking for opinions. Next time I want a response from you, I'll ask specifically for insults. With an attitude like that, I'm not interested in what you might list.
You have done around 200 builds???? Shens to you!!!!
Guess again.
The ISP I used to work for in Southern California bought out a webhosting company that had 112 machines sitting around a room that they used for webservers. First thing we did was build all new 1u rackmount machines to replace them. I've lost track of the number of computers I've built for friends, family, myself and various other customers. Probably still sub-200, but awful close.
Let me clarify a little further:
All I'm asking for is opinions. I've only used Abit, Asus and MSI boards in the past and was curious to see if there were any other manufacturers that would be worth a shot. Same story on memory. Corsair still the best or would you suggest something different? Video cards? Processor is the easy part.
