Ok now that Gay marriage is a reality perhaps the progressive ANAND techs could help clear some stuff up for me?

1.How do you know which side to sit on at a gay wedding service?.
2.What do you say when they ask if anyone objects to this man marrying this man or this woman marrying this women, and would it be considered a trick question?
3.Can gays be granted a divorce based on sexual incompatibility?
4.Can their marriage be annulled without penalty assuming it was not consummated?
5.Who carries who over the threshold?
6.Can gay couples qualify for ?honeymoon suites?, how about the newlywed game?
7.Whose father pays for the wedding?
8.Who takes care of the registration?
9.Can the bridesmaids be straight?
10.Can the ?best man? be a woman?
11.Is it in bad taste to include the phrase ?What God has brought together let no man put ....?
12.Is it appropriate to throw a ?bachelor party? for a gay friend?.
13.Who kisses who when they say you may kiss the bride?
14.Who throws the flowers?
15.Who takes whose name?
16.Is it wrong for me to flirt with a gay married man?
17.If they adopt a child, which one gets maternity leave?
18.Is appropriate for both to wear white?
19.If your a child of a gay married couple who is mom and who is dad, is two dads ok or two moms? Can you just interchange the terms if things get confusing?
20.Can gay couples testify against each other?

Please feel free to include your own questions in this thread, perhaps we can all put or heads together and figure this out........

Bi-sexual marriage is really gonna get confusing, but perhaps the groundwork we lay here we give us a head start on figuring that one out too.

Must not post...must not post....ah fuvk it. Ok, first of all, conjur, don't let romans828 get on your nerve, he can't help himself. Second, romans828, please give the gay discussions a rest for the day. There's enough threads relating to the subject going on today, any more will just make things go out of control and force the mods to start locking threads (if they're still paying attension that is).

Dude, some of those questions, I don't even know the answer if they were doing a straight wedding.

1. Just like any other wedding... Whoever your related to or friends with, ...duh
2. What is tricky about the question.
3. Can hetero couples be granted a divorce. If they were sexually compatible, they wouldn't be gay, no?
rolleye.gif

4. What's the (your
rolleye.gif
) definition of consumate?
5. Its their choice. What does that have to do with the legality of it?
6. Private businesses can do what they want. This goes along the same lines as churches can't be forced to marry gays even though they have a state license. The whole issue is with the state. It has nothing to do with religion.

7. That is traditional. Again, its has nothing to do with the legality of the issue.
8. Their choice.
9. Why not?
10. Now we're getting into the religious side of it (read #6). Do a straight couple need a best man be legally married by the state?

11. I don't see why?
12. Why not? Again, what does this have to do with legality?
13. Their choice.
14. Are there flowers involved at the courthouse when you get your license?
15. Their choice.
16. If you're not gay, then why would you flirt with a guy in the first place?
17. That' a seperate issue. Children are a different concern.
18. Is it against the law?
19. Again, children are seperate issue.
20. Why not? Can straight one?

Oh I see, but what if im friends with the the parents ?

2. What is tricky about the question.
Can I object based on my objection to gay marriage or only if I dont agree with thier choice?

3. Can hetero couples be granted a divorce. If they were sexually compatible, they wouldn't be gay, no?

Just asking the may be virgins who saved themselves for marriage you know

4. What's the (your
rolleye.gif
) definition of consumate?

If I have to explain it...... You should not be asking

5. Its their choice. What does that have to do with the legality of it?

Nothing, just curious

6. Private businesses can do what they want. This goes along the same lines as churches can't be forced to marry gays even though they have a state license. The whole issue is with the state. It has nothing to do with religion.

Ok, but we need further clarification

7. That is traditional. Again, its has nothing to do with the legality of the issue.

Exactly whose father?

8. Their choice.

Oh OK
9. Why not?

I don't know why not ....... I am the one asking the questions dern it

10. Now we're getting into the religious side of it (read #6). Do a straight couple need a best man be legally married by the state?

nothing religious about a simple yes or no will suffice

11. I don't see why?

You dont?

12. Why not? Again, what does this have to do with legality?

Nothing just curious

13. Their choice.

Not fair what about the photographers how the hell will they know which way to shoot?

14. Are there flowers involved at the courthouse when you get your license?

No but its traditinal at the service

15. Their choice.

No good legal mumbo jumbo will frown on that, you know estate issues and what not

16. If you're not gay, then why would you flirt with a guy in the first place?

Maybe I go both ways, besides its none of your business

17. That' a seperate issue. Children are a different concern.

No I think all this sh*t pretty much interwoven

18. Is it against the law?

No, just in bad taste

19. Again, children are seperate issue.

No they are never a sperate issue in this context

20. Why not? Can straight one?[/quote]

No they cant be made to

Ah, Romans, still working for the reputation of a translovian butthead -- so much lower than an ordinary butthead. I'd be tempted to answer if I thought you wanted enlightenment -- and I'm on former Governor Ronald Reagan's list of known heterosexuals. Must be tough to be hung up on this issue!

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.
