In my continuing quest to understand basic algebra again I'm trying to simplify this problem.

(-2x^2+7x+6-x^3)-(2x+7x^2-x^3)

Any ideas. I keep getting somthing like 10x, but I feel i'm way wrong.

Thanks again for any help.

-x^3 -2x^2 +7x +6 -2x -7x^2 +x^3
-9x^2+5x+6

Sure, if u= 69-i assuming i=sqrt(-1) :D
<-- Never tell a Mathematician a math joke :p

My favorite is still Solve: ?çe^x= f(u)*n

edit: Ack! My integral sign from charmap (?ç) crapped out on me. My joke has been ruined....
