I am going to be setting up a wireless network for an apartment. This will span across 4 different rooms. I already have some equipment, and would like advice on what to do for the rest.

Already have the following:

-Linksys WCG200 cable modem/access point/router
-Netgear wireless ethernet bridge
-10/100 4 port switch

I was thinking of having the main room have the modem/router and the second room with two computers connected to the bridge with the 4 port switch.

My question is how to I connect 1 more computer and an Xbox in two different rooms to the network. Should I go with simple wireless cards? USB cards? and for the Xbox since it needs an ethernet connection, can i use a simple access point like the WAP11 in bridge mode and connect it wirelessly to the router? or do i have to buy an expensive ethernet bridge?

I really dont want to waste $80 to connect the frigging xbox to the network.

I haven't had much luck with wireless ethernet bridges myself; YMMV. I would use a standard wireless nic for the other PC or USB, whatever tickles your fancy.

As for the XBOX, if you could run a cable to the switch, I believe that would be a better option for you than anything wireless.
