Help me set up TV for best gaming experience

Hello AT.
I have a 32 inch 1080p LG tv (i don't have the model number right now) and i wanted to know what are the best options to make games look better. I see the games I'm playing on my phone on YouTube and they look wayyyy better than my actual tv. The lighting and colors look washed out on my display. Any help is appreciated.

It does but the pre set settings make the pictures very dim. I don't understand what most settings do lol so i end up making the video look very washed out compared to others

Game mode turns off processing so there is less input lag. If that is still dim jack up the brightness, cell light or contrast a little.

There's a gamma setting that changes brightness kind of. What is that exactly?
