Help Me Set Up Sound Through Front Jack and SPDIF (Ubuntu 11.04)

Hi,
The topic pretty much says it all. I have an ASUS M4A78LT-M Motherboard (this is AM3). On Windows, I get sound through the front jack and SPDIF output simultaneously automatically.

On Linux, I don't.

When I click on "sound preferences" for Ubuntu, under the Hardware tab I see two devices.
"Internal Audio" (1 output / 1 input)
and
"RS780 Azalia Controller" (HDMI).

I don't use the HDMI.
If I choose "Internal Audio" I can click on a number of "Profiles".
So I can choose "7.1 analog output" or "Analog Stereo Output" (this is front jack) or "ICE958" (this is a digital output connected to a receiver). But, as far as I can tell; I can't set it up to use all of them at once; or even use two of them at once. I want to have my Analog Stereo Output out of the front jack, with SPDIF also hooked up to my receiver. How can I do this? Why is this not intuitive to Ubuntu like it is for Windows?
