I'm not sure where I read this from, but I read somewhere a long time ago that it is best to install systems files and program files on one drive, and save files I'm going to use for editing in another physical drive. Is this true?
I currently have my PC with the System Files and Program Files in one Drive. This Drive is partitioned to two drives, one for windows and another partition for program files. I also have another drive that I use for storage, which is where I have been saving all files I use for editing.
Is there a proper way to set up hardware for editing for it to work most efficiently? What do you guys reccomend I do?
