Help me set up my network..please!

Ok heres whats going on.
Currently have a linksys 54gs. This is connected to my cable modem and my pc which is located in my bedroom.
I also have a pc in my living room which is connected to my plasma tv.
This pc has a "bridge" type of unit on it to connect to the bedroom. This pc constantly loses the connection.
I would like to upgrade/redo my setup for a better/faster connection.
I also will be connecting a HP media server in a few days.
So.....whats your suggestions/ideas for a really great home network...price doesnt really matter...results do!

if the wireless is giving you problems, try a different channel. 1, 6 and 11 are the best ones to use. that alone may make a difference.

Get two DD-WRT routers and set up WDS mode between them.
