Help me set up my ftp behind a router!

Title really says it all... I have a router and have 3 computers sharing cable access, but I would like to set up an ftp and whenever I try it doesnt work for people except people withing these 3 computers LoL ..

Please help my poor poor ftp-less soul

I bet you have a Linksys router and you forgot to disable "Block WAN Requests"

If your server works on port 21, but not on other custom port #s, then your problem is that you don't have your ports pointing to the right node.
