i downloaded the patch for GTA3 today, ran it and began playing gta3. now wehn i`m on foot the character continusly walks backwards and i cant walk forwards, when i do make it to a car, the forwards key work fine, and it doesnt go backwards.
now you`ll probably suggest going back to version 1.0, tryed it but the same problem appears, ive tryed installing and reinstalling 3 times and its still dont work.
after some experimenting, ive found that the character slowly walks in whatever direction im facing.
for example. from the standard view, the character is facing forwards, so as im looking at him from behind, he`ll slowly walk backwards. if i change the control style to the other one he faces me and thus walks towards me, slowly.
ive tryed the following things to fix the problem, but none of them work.
reinstalling-
keyboard drivers(intellitype)
MoBo drivers
the game itself
removing gta3 entries from the registary.
none work though, any help would be much appriciated
