help me remove service pack 3!

I installed a windows XP disk that came already loaded with service pack 3. But one of the applications I use won't work with sp3. So is there any way to just remove sp3? Or do I have to start from scratch and use a windows XP disk that doesn't have it.
 
Care to share what application won't run with SP3?

And, no, there's no way to uninstall SP3 if it was installed from an SP3-integrated Install CD.
