HELP ME RAID PROBLEMS

I have just installed a hotrod 100 raid card from abit and am trying to put install a 13 gig ata 66 and a 12.9 gig ata 33 in raid 0 array. It says that the array is created fine and i am able to fdisk the array but i cannot format it at all. I have tried a 98 boot disk and fat32 format and a fat332 win2k format and a ntfs format for win2k none work it gets to the end and either recycle itself or says the hardrive is curropt. I have tried setting the the ata 66 hardrive to ata 33 that doesnt fix and i have tried changing which drive is the visible one. NOTHING WORKS AHHHHH!

Any ideas on wtf is wrong with my system will be appreciated.
