I have a Dlink DIR-655, and I am just looking to extend my network so I can get service throughout my house. I tried the DAP-1522 Bridge/AP, but I couldn't get the damned thing to work. Besides, had I gotten it to work, the AP feature of the DAP doesn't extend the network, it creates a NEW SSID.

I just want to extend my network, not create a new one.

Anyone have any product suggestions? I've looked around, but I cant find anything decently rated other than the DAP-1522 for just AP.

Thanks in advance-

Cheers.

AP, of course.

Not going to go for DAP again. Also, their tech support was worthless.

Well, there are alternative ways.. you can either use another router or you can purchase wireless extender to expand the range of wireless network. These days extenders are getting cheaper so you might want to try buying one of those.
