Here's the story. We have an '85 Ford Tempo. It does not work, but this isn't the problem. We were trying to take it out of the garage to put a working car in there, but my driveway is on a slope, so we had to use the brake (The regular break beside the gas pedal). Now the brake won't disengage I guess, and it will not move. Whats happening is like when you push the gas pedal the pedal is compressed and not really able to be pushed in far, but it won't decompress. So now the car won't move. What can I do?

The car sat for too long and the brake calipers got rusty. Then when you hit the brakes, the pistons in the calipers froze. You can either use a winch to pull the car out of there, or pull the brakes apart.

Yep, I second that.

Good time to think about donating that car to a charity. They would have a tow truck to move it with.
