Ok so I'm getting a 7900 GT to replace my aging X800, this will be my first nvidia card and I've read a lot of complaints of new drivers, so which is the best set that I can use for it right now?

And also, do I have to follow a special procedure to uninstall ATI drivers and CCC or just removing them from add/remove programs will do the trick?

I like the official Nvidia 91.47s from Nvidia.com.

I would use Driver Cleaner,link .
Just follow the instructions in the readme file which are quite simple.

Owned! Driver cleaner is very talked about when it comes to deleting old drivers!
