Do TVs include general hardware though, really? (I was thinking general but that's why I posted it here)

What's your current computer like? How much TV do you watch? Are you a complete computer addict like the rest of us here? Do you like the idea of consolidating all your entertainment needs (music/movies/porn/gaming/communications) to a single desk so you can not leave your chair for 12 straight hours?

Computer:
Athlon XP 2400M (stock)
1.5gb ddr400 cas 2.5
ATI 9800 AIW PRO 128mb
~400 gb total hd space (fills up quick)

Computer addiction:

Started computers at 11, was typing 100 words per minute by 13.. Answer your question? (I'm 22)

I do. I was even thinking of (eventually) getting both the TV and the desktop, and plugging in the PC as an input. What's your idea?

24mbit is nice, but since you are a gamer I'd go with one of the top two choices.

I believe he was referring to getting a nice 1080p LCDTV around 27-37 inches and using it as a monitor.

Buy the large 1080p capable TV and use your current computer as a media center PC as it seems to have adequate specs.

Then buy the new desktop with slightly reduced specs and a 19'' monitor.

Samsung 4665F 1080p 15,000:1 LCD + XBOX 360

...plus there might be some modifications you can make to your XB360 that might result in you saving a bunch of cash ;)

You'd regret buying such a massive expensive laptop when you carry it around. Desktop looks good though.

Yeah, that was already planned.

I wouldn't get a 17" laptop, either. Had one that size and I wouldn't want to carry it around.
