Help me pick some floorstanding speakers

I am looking strictly for stereo speakers for music and parties. I am trying stay in the $500+/- range. So far I have:

Athena SF-1 $375
Klipsch RF-25 $660 Kind of expensive
Paradigm Legend $ 520 (demo unit)

I think I am leaning towards the Paradigm legends

Any experiece? opinions?
 
I can't say anything about the Athena or Klipsch speakers since i never got the chance to listen to them.
The Paradigm Legend is a ok speaker, not great but better than many others in the same pricerange.

Other speakers that i can recommend is:
DALI 5005 - about the same class as Paradigm Legend
DALI Evidence 470 - quite expensive though, but my favorite

or if you don't care so much about the stereo imaging, detail, and focussing in the music and just want a party speaker the Cerwin-Vega V-12F is a great one.
