I want to get a couple of fans for my Parents PC and for myself. I need them to be efficient and quiet.

Also, does anyone know where I can find some volt modded fans like the ones in the P180 case?

Heatsinkfactory

I recommed these guys bought an Accelero X2 from them. Got my stuff a day early

Also a 120mm CPU fan

Nexus are the quietest but the most expensive. An alternative is Yate Loon orange. They are essentially the same as the Nexus but cheaper.

So the Yate Loons are OEM Nexus?

And what about the CPU fan?

The Big Typhoon fan is already pretty quiet. Turn on Q-Fan on your motherboard to slow it down and you'll be hard pressed to notice a difference if you replace it with something like a Nexus.

thermaltake products are for teh newbs. if i were you i'd get the top of the line in best cooling and quiet and get the scythe ninja, if you still need further cooling get a nexus fan later on it

The TTBT has pretty good performence for the price... and its pretty quiet. But Scythe and ThermalRite have been in the market for a few years, and know how to make good HS.

Take a look at the Arctic Cooling fan12. 56cfm/23dba. FDB bearings and no shroud. Gets good reviews and is relatively cheap.

Agreed on the Arctic Fan 12. That's a really good noise rating for that much airflow. There's two versions: the one with shroud and one without. Use the ones with shroud as intake and use the ones without as CPU fan and exhaust. That should do the trick.

I'll 2nd the rec for the Yate Loon Orange fans I had a pair come w/ my TT Tsunami (silver no window) and they are very quiet. the loudest thing in my case is my VF700 on my X800XL
