Hey guys, can you give me some advice on what mobo to pick?

I'm still deciding if i will use ddr2 or ddr3, but i won't be using SLI so i want a x38 or x48 chipset

So what you recommend to get if i get ddr2 ram? What if i get ddr3? I have never overclocked before or played with BIOS, so a mobo that doesn't have many problems is preferable of course. Price doesn't matter
