Help me pick a wireless adapter(s) for my TIVO series2 and PS2slim

So we finally joined the 21st Century today and got a wireless DSL modem to replace the old one that fried. I already set the WPA and changed the admin password. My laptop with built in G connects throughout the house at 54Mbps no problem.

Now I have my TIVO and PS2 across the house and one floor up so can I get one wireless adapter that will work with both entertainment systems?

Also the Zoom says "Zoom 125 Speed Boster for faster 802.11g" but the documentation says nothing about how. My laptop has built in 54g 802.11b/g WLAN with 125HSM/SpeedBoster. How do I make this work?
