I want a widescreen mainly for xbox 360 - I have a Viewsonic VX922 now (really pleased with it).
These are all highly rated at Newegg - what do you think / anyone own these?

BenQ FP202W V3 20" 5ms (1680 x 1050 / 0.258mm Pixel Pitch)

Viewsonic Optiquest Q20WB 20" 5ms (1680 x 1050 / 0.258 mm Pixel Pitch)

CHIMEI CMV 221D-NBC Black 22" 5ms (1680 x 1050 / 0.282mm Pixel Pitch)

I posted on this form a couple of days ago looking for info on the same Chimei and have got no responses. Newegg has ton of reviews on this monitor so would think someone on this forum has one!

I'm interested in it and the Acer 2216 and I'm just trying to make sure one or both does NOT have a glossy/shiny bezel that will reflect.

Hope we can get an answer.

I have this monitor. Costs a bit more than the ones you listed, but it has a faster refresh rate (2ms). The picture quality is absolutely flawless. If it fits your budget, I highly recommend it.

No dead pixels and the colors are as good (better in some respects) as my old 19" CRT. And it's widescreen; lots of space!

If you want and 8-bit panel then this one is for you. Very affordable and great colors.

If you choose any other 6-bit panel, might as well get a 22" and call it a day. The real estate is awesome.

Thanks for the responses. The acer is very nice indeed but I really don't have a problem with 6-bit panels - really like my vx922.
I think i may just go with the Chimei 22" because of the higher refresh and bigger screen.

I bought two of these (no dead pixels on both) and I love them. I also have a Dell 2007wfp that I bought for a little bit over $300 and I like the Acer 2051W better.

Edit: Why is the price $290 now? Wow I bought them for $199 each with free shipping just a few weeks ago...
