24,312 posts and ur asking us which cooler! lol ...The Zalman certainly looks better in led form, but too niosy if u run it @12v....I'm with Pyrokinetic, go the Accelero X1, cooler and quieter than Zalman, even beats the Vf900 :)

I'd go for the AC one, i like the exhaust feature. Also it should be dirt cheap, which never hurts :)

I just got the vf-700 for my 7800gt and i have no complaints it is a little loud at 12v but dead silent at 5v. i'm personally running it at around 8v though a fan controller. dropped my idle 5-7 degrees and load by 10. Very easy to insatll also.

the problem with the AC is that i cant use it on future card

I also thought about the X1 but the fact that it costs twice as much as the silencers makes it a questionable buy

Well for your future card you will probably spend around $250, spending another $25 on a new cooler wouldn't be all that bad I think.

Yes, as far as i know the only graphics card company that lets you swap the heatsink without voiding the warranty is eVGA. You could check by emailing the company that makes your graphics card and asking them if it does void the warranty, and ask them if there is any way to swap it out without voiding the warranty (ie shipping it to them, trusted technician etc.) It's not going to happen, but asking can't hurt.
