the sony one is about 70 bucks or so cheaper but they are both in my price range... what strikes me kinda funny is that the first one has almost twice the RMS wattage but less quality i think from the specs...

i actually bought a pair of 6" sony xplod speakers 60W RMS and they have been awesome so far i really like them.....

im just wondering will the first sub be "too much"??? i mean i have 4x 60W RMS speakers and that amp waiting for the sub... is 550W RMS gonna just overpower everthing????

also does the impendance matter and how much???
 
Here is the stat that matters:
Stroke volume
That determines the limit of dB and fz that you can do.
It is almost never listed by manufacturers.
You can calculate it as surface area of the driver multiplied by the Vmax.
