hmmm... I already bought a unit but its JVC, i was not aware the wiring harnesses where so tricky, I think I will take this back tomorrow and just move over to that pioneer you posted, since it would not require a switch out of harness. Do you have that one? or anyone care to comment on it? -- I hope its come a long ways since the current Pioneer I have that is falling apart... lol.

I had a similar one in a different vehicle that I sold. Always liked the pioneer head units, and the USB pretty much meant that I never touched a CD.

Well I took back the JVC due to not wanting to fiddle with soldering or worrying about another wiring harness... Actually pretty happy I did so because today online just found this deal on a pioneer for $60 plus comes with speakers, I have no use for the speakers but its a great deal and has what I want so I jumped on it..

This should install in my vehicle simply by swapping out the head units right? I should not need a new wiring harness b/c they're both pioneer?

Anyone recommend a website or place online I can purchase those fork like tools used to extract the radio deck unit from the dash? I know last time I pulled out the head unit I had to visit a car stereo store and they pulled it out for me for free but I no longer live near one to be able to do that....
