help me pick a phone: Nokia 3560 OR Moto V60i

okay...i've decided to go w/ ATT service...dont ask why...so now its time to pick a phone; the nokia 3560 or motorola v60i. my only gripe w/ the nokia is that its not a flip phone; but then its new compared to the v60i. the nokia is rite now free on the ATT site, while the v60i is $50 AR. opinions please.

Go with the Nokia if you want all the bells and whistles and stuff.

If you want a plain-jane no nonsense phone that's built like a tank and has uber-reception then go for the Moto. I have a V60i through Verizon and it's simply incredible aside from the fact that it has NO INTERESTING FEATURES WHATSOEVER.

hmmm....i dunno if i'll use all the features...but it sorta looks like a cool phone; from the att site the 3560 is 4.65x1.97x.91 inches (3.8 oz) while the v60i is 3.42x1.77x1.07 inches (3.4 oz)....flip phones just look cooler; tho i my bro's gf says she hates her v60i after having a non flip phone; plus i've heard horror stories of how v60 antennae's break off so easily and its also not covered under warranty.

I think the Moto V60 series is pretty darn good. I thought I was trading up when I got a Moto T720, boy, was I wrong! It drops calls way too often. I never had any real problems with my V60i. It's a very nice flip phone.

Verizon is supposed to be coming out shortly with a V60 that has a nationwide, digital walkie-talkie sorta like a Nextel.

well i had a v60 for over a year and just recently got the 3650...

the v60 is really dependable, lasts, great reception etc etc...

but basically the only thing you can do with it is call and text, which is basically what a phone needs to do...
but dust does tend to settle where the "caller ID" thing is and the antenna does break (the entire base, not just the tip)

the 3650 is great so far...it is kinda big, but compared to all the other non flip phones, its not as big as you'd first think...
my friend has the nokia that flips out into a complete keyboard, and the 3650 is barely an eighth of an inch longer (when the phone is NOT flipped open)
plus the 3650 has a lot more things to play with...i mean its got video capability...yeah it's not great quality or too useful, but fun nevertheless...
the circular keypad won't take that long to get adjusted to either...

i think you misread 3560 for 3650 which is the new nokia camera phone...which is definietly bigger than the one i'm talking about...and IMO sorta fugly.

go with nokia... for me at least... v60 = worst phone ever! terrible reception, phone has problems charging, lacks the ease of use of a nokia phone..

actually decided to place the order w/ the nokia...couldnt resist the "newness" of it and couldnt stomach the problems w/ the V60i...after i placed my order online, called AT&T and rep i spoke said that the 3560 was definetly better than the v60i; also said that his two Moto T720s arent good....and that ATT GSM is not where its supposed to be even in the NY metro area that i'm in; wut an honest sales rep!

java apps for series 60 (3650 etc) phones are kinda kewl. you can even play doom on it u just gotta look for series 60 stuff.

just get a replacement face plate, i don't like the grey.

i'm getting it too, its being shipped as we speak. you can't beat free! hell frys is selling it for 150, and thats after a 150 dollar rebate. its the nicest pda/camera/phone for free out there
