Help me pick a PDA / Handheld PC

So I'm finally going to breakdown and get a new PDA (after my old Palm III was killed in a tragic "Left it sitting on the dashboard on a sunny, hot, summer day a few years ago." )

I don't need anything fancy, I basically just want something that will work, keep my life organized, and hopefully something that can play MP3s too.

Can someone recommend one? I don't think I care if it's PalmOS or Pocket PC based (unless there is some reason I SHOULD care?). I'm trying to keep this as inexpensive as possible.

Thanks

Palm Tungsten E or a Sony Clie PEG-TJ27 are good budget choices. Yes, I'm biased toward the Palm OS, but it is well justified.

Well, I guess I'd like to keep it as close to $100 as possible. If an MP3 option isn't available at that price point, I could live without it. The main purpose is for scheduling and whatnot.

Youe best bet is still palm OS for that price. The battery life cant be beat. The new Palm are not necessarily better than older ones. I know my 5-yr old Plam III is better than my gf's Palm Zire. Just go to ebay. There're tons of them.
