Help me pick a new LCD monitor or LCD TV?

Hey guys,

I need some help here. My 27 inch sony wega flat screen is dying on me and I need a replacement.


I need an all around monitor or TV that will enable me to watch cable TV, DVDs, xbox gaming and computer monitor. Always like to keep my options open.

Preferably something between 30 to 42 inches in size and not costing more than $1500 US.


Any suggestions?
