Well my 75GXP's finnlay gave up the ghost a couple of days ago, and I think its rime to go for some new drives. I use a RAID 0 array, on a HPT370 adapter. I need some help on deciding which drives to pair up and run as my next RAID array. I will not buy IBM again, so they're out. Maxtor? WD? Seagate? Need some opinions here...

The WDs with 8 MB cache are the best for RAID right now.

hmmm...is there a way to post attachments?

checkout null and search for "RAID setups" go to the first link (SR.com's Drive Performance Resource Center).

play around with that drop down menu and select different benchies and select whatever HDDs you want to compare.

WDs are kickass in RAID. DO NOT GET BARRACUDA IV's! Not for RAID. They are GREAT HDDs, but they were not (confirmed by Seagate) built for RAID setups and their performance in RAID is more than below par.
