CX-5's are pretty much Mazda 6's. At least when I drove some a couple years ago. They were not big at all inside, compared to the relatively cavernous 5 (just '5').

And crossover is a bastardized word. It used to mean a slightly upsized hatchback compact (like Pontiac Vibe or a little bigger). Then brands like Chevrolet inexplicably started using it to describe huge seven seat SUV's, like that awful Traverse. Okay, you took a Suburban, made it unibody (I think?) and shaped like a jellybean. Nice 'crossover.'

Was able to test drive a Mazda CX-5 last weekend at the Tampa Auto Show. I was unfortunately underwhelmed, although its designed for fuel efficiency, it felt incredibly underpowered and lethargic. Handling was great, but power was much weaker than i expected.
