And then again, if you were one of those, you'd already have a good multivitamin picked out by a trainer/coach

I'm on the eliptical machine 1 hour every day (on level 6 of 8 max resistance) and I lift 2X a week for about 35 minutes.

plus I'm only going to take 1 pill when they recommend 2 so I'll be getting 1/2 the vitamin dose.

I'm also going to be taking one of each of the following

GNC Multi Ultra Mega Gold Without Iron, Timed Release Tablets Recommended is 2

GNC Pro Performance Amino Burst 3000
recommended is 3

GABA I have no idea why this one is women's since it's an amino acid

Vitamin K

GNC Potassium & Magnesium Aspartate 250 mg

Centrum, One a Day, or generic equivelent will all be about the same. As long as you don't take the Iron ones.

Sorry, but not everyone eats a "balanced" diet filled with natural sources of essential vitamins. Supplementation is the only way we get them.

Here's a good study verifying what I said, out of Harvard Med, published in JAMA:

Kathleen Fairfield MD and Robert Fletcher MD. "Vitamins for Chronic Disease Prevention: Scientific Review and Clinical Applications." Clinician's Corner, Journal of the American Medical Association, Vol 287, No 23, 19 July 2002.

There's a difference between wasting money and getting vitamins with 1000% of your DV as opposed to getting normal vitamins with 100% of your DV. Spending the extra $10-20 for 1000% DV of your vitamins IS pissing it all away.

 Yes, because we all know how accurate the RDA's are. Hahaha, I bet you still think the "Food Pyramid" from 1st grade is accurate too.
