Help me pick a motherboard

Upgrading an older Chaintech VNF3250 rig with a Newcastle 3000+. Was thinking about going with a 6800GT AGP but the performance of the sapphire GTO2 makes it a bad choice (cuz the 6800GT will cost me as much as GTO2+newboard). So I need a basic and ultra reliable board with PCI-E. Narrowed down choices:

ASUS K8N4-E DELUXE $92 from newegg

DFI nF4X Infinity $75 from newegg, $86 from ewiz

MSI K8N Neo3 $70 from newegg

From just looking at the photos the Asus looks like my top choice with the DFI 2nd. But the DFI has no reviews to be found.

Suggestions?

yea ASus is a good brand and I don't know abot the DFI cause that may not be as good for OCing as the LanParty and stuff

A warning about the K8N4-E Deluxe. It has a PEG Link Mode in BIOS that automatically overclocks your video card. If you have a video card with a weak heatsink fan like mine, you'll want it on disabled. Also, some people say their northbridge chipset fan failed after a couple of months. So, I put a Zalman NB47J on mine.

Also, note that the new ATI cards coming out in the next couple of days have a technology that shows videos with amazing clarity. I've owned two Nvidias and one ATI and I don't mind switching back and forth.

If you don't mind gaming at 1024x768, have you considered a 6600GT or plain 6800? $150 total and done, with a lot less work than if you swap motherboards in your case and move the CPU.

If you ask me, I would have to say MSI. Yes I own an MSI and its all I have ever owned which is a total of 4. So naturally I would BIAS if I have never had a single issue with there boards.

GET THE MSI

Thanks for the heads up.

I hate gaming at anything less than 12x10, most games I play are 16x12.
