Hello, looking for a motherboard as the last piece of my new build, would like to stay around or under $100. I was gonna get a Abit ip35-e from newegg but now that those are gone the cheapest I can find them is around $110. I have found a Abit ip35 for like $100 after MIR, thinking of going with that unless there is something better for my parts? Want something that overcloaks well and is good for gaming. I would like to make sure that it is compatible with the 2.1V ram I got as i dont have any other DDR2 to change bios settings with. thanks!

my parts:

Not as primary I hope. 2 IDE devices on the same channel gets a bit laggy.. And you'll need a SATA optical drive

No issue here. Maximum bandwidth for optical drive is around 20MB/sec. Most IDE drives should top out around 80MB/sec.

Yeah its gonna be as my primary, I had the 2 IDE HDD's and and IDE DVD burner that was getting a bit old and I read that it was not good to have the burner on the same channel as the HDD so I ordered a new SATA DVD Burner. SerpentRoyal(or anyone else) think you could explain a bit more about the bandwith? AM I gonna lose speed with the 2 HDD's on the same channel?

which is on SATA ...
the IDE port is provided by a JMicron controller on the PCI-E bus so the 133 PCI restriction shouldn't be a problem especially as older IDE drive will probably have a continuous transfer speed under 50MB/s.

If you are looking for a motherboard with 2 IDE ports, look no further than the 650i SLI. The 650i SLI is slightly above your price range.

You should seriously consider XFX Nvidia 680i LT SLI for $99 @ TigerDirect.

I hope that helps.
