Help me pick a major!

I really don't know what I want to do in college, so someone help me pick a major. Right now I'm like way into the computer field, more so then the average high school senior probably. I have 4 certs (A+, NET+, MCSA, MCSE) and currently employed as a tech at a large credit card issuing company(my employment ends with them this coming summer). It seems like I ought to get a computer science degree, but I'm thinking more towards something like Business Administrator or the something else with Business. I doubt I could handle the load of being a double major since I go to such a "slack-off" high school.

Do you enjoy programming? If not, stay far far away from a CS major. Everyone I know who started with that, and wasn't a natural programmer has changed majors.

Go to a semi-reputable college, take intro. micro and macro economics, the first year of calculus, intro comp. programming, accounting, business law, get some of those pesky gen. education requirements out of the way, etc. Make your decision after a year or two.

Or, take an entry level programming class and decide whether or not it's for you. I took Java, hated it, and switched majors.

Picking a major is something you should do on your own...just pick whatever interests you the most and has the ability to provide you with financial stability.

W/ all those certs, I'd suggest CS IMO wiredspider 🙂

those 4 certs would fit IT better than CS

Yes they would, but considering vtqanh's question, it appears that he or she is intrigued by technology, and if vtqanh can make it in CS, it would be worthwhile IMO 🙂
