Help me pick a crappy video card

I just realized I don't know s**t about crappy video cards. I'm giving the rig below to my brother (minus the video card) and that motherboard has no on board video. He uses his PC for internet / email / spreadsheets / youtube, he's never played a game and probably never will. I would prefer a fanless card, should not be a problem with the 2 noctua's and a stock side panel fan...

Looking to spend 35 - 50 might as well get the best bang for the bucks eh?

Anybody here got the skinny on the budget lineup? I need to pull the trigger tonight on this...

This is one I am considering getting. It is definitely faster than the 5450. XFX GT 240 for $35AR but no free shipping. Comes with a free game cod4 which would further reduce the cost if sold. Lifetime warranty. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150553

Not sure what the speed differences exactly between the two, but id say the gt 240 probably 10X as fast as a 5450 maybe?

Of course, the 5450 uses like 19 watts of power and the gt 240 uses like 70 watts of power. :)

If you want crappy and not exactly current

Biostar Geforce GT 210

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814141130

this is pretty much bottom of the barrell for nVidia graphics cards.

If you don't mind mail in rebates this one even includes Call of Duty 4

XFX Geforce GT 240 GDDR3

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150553

I personally wouldn't go anything below this

EVGA GeForce GT 240 1GB GDDR5

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130645

which is not crappy and a borderline decent card.

Here is benchmark with many of the lower end cards. Gives kind of the general idea.

http://www.anandtech.com/show/2935/5

GT 240(and im not sure if the one in the benchmark is DDR5 or DDR3 but it makes a difference) is slightly faster than an 4670, which is about the same speed as the 5570. So if you can find a 4670/5570 or GT 240 for $30 or so, thats pretty beast bang 4 buck.

EDIT:

Here I just found a xfx 4670 with lifetime warranty for $30AR before shipping on tiger. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=417780&CatId=3669

Ok... Most of the cards mentioned above are significantly faster than that and cost less money but....
