I'm working on buying a bundle (mobo, cpu, hsf, RAM) from an online vendor. They give me 3 selections of HSF, but I haven't researched this area at all. Please let me know your recommendations.

Thermaltake-YES (thermaltake will be quieter, Gigabyte will probably cool better, both are good choices, depends on preference.)

or you could scrap them and get a REAL HSF 😀

hehe, that may be a little overkill, unless you plan on overclocking...in which case its a great choice.
