Okay so I'm getting one for sure now. I was debating it all day but then I found out I can sell my 8600gt for close to retail to a friend of a friend lol. That deal is too good to pass up. I can't afford the really expensive ones like the EVGA SSC and I'm not a fan of PNY plus tax adds $10 for me in IL so that one on sale for $152 is out as well. So far I am leaning towards the regular EVGA one, also the MSI ones on newegg look pretty nice but what is the difference between two of the models. I know one was 1 GB memory but these two I can't tell besides one has a free game and they look different. I need to order this by tomorrow since my old card will be out of my hands in a few days so your help is much appreciated. here are the MSI ones.

I would take the Microcenter deal. All these card brands are overclockable.

Also how is it taxing you for online ordering?

Well it looks like the MSI 9600GT has a double-slot cooler and it has 1GB of memory opposed to EVGA's single-slot cooler and 512MB of memory. Those are pretty much the two biggest differences that I can see. MSI 9600GT will give you better performance but it's going to be more expensive.

The extra 512MB of memory won't do a thing on that 9600GT.

Just check the cheapest you can find, that microcenter deal seems pretty great, I would take that or splurge the extra money and get the MSI 8800GT on newegg for 192AR including shipping.

pny for 168.00$ dollars shipped or the msi for 181.00$ shipped.
I'd save the 13$ and overclock it myself.

I don't know but I went through checkout apart from paying and that's what happened. Is it because I live in IL and it is coming from IL or something?

I decided just to get the superclocked EVGA one from newegg anyway. Ordering later today unless I see some mind blowing deal on another brand I like.
