i just got in on that microcenter deal

so i was wondering what game should i get?

i'm considering graw cuz its cheap and there doesn't seem to be any game out that is worth 60 bucks in my mind. also i would rather have a game with a long quality single player campaign than multi.

thanks

I still agree on Gears. Single player wasn't really *that* short, imo, and can easily be played again on different difficulty levels. Therefore, I would recommend Gears. It'd be incredible if it had bots for times that I can't get a good Live match together.

If he wants length, definitely Oblivion. If he doesn't care about genre, then Fight Night's career mode definitely took a lot of my time.

EDIT: Hey, deepred, I see you're in The Woodlands. Hopefully I'm on my way out of this jobless hell-hole in the next few weeks (seriously, I love The Woodlands, but jobs are slim)! On my way to Austin, if life treats me well.

There's always Enchanted Arms if you like RPGs with stereotypical Japanese anime-ish characters (i.e using stereotypes from animes, not anime-esque drawings for characters). The battle system for the game actually makes it kind of interesting as there's a lot more thought that goes into a single battle rather than just clicking "Attack" for each character.

Maybe off the beaten path but Tiger Woods for 2007 has been a blast. Graphics are incredible and the game has been improved to the extent it is the best golf game I have played on a PC or console (single player). Some of the challenges you get from CPU characters are hilarious.....you get to play and beat some real a$$ hats (that is, they act like that on the course).

Gears of War - The only game you are going to need for you 360 over the Xmas break.. Just wish I had a 360 or they released for PC either way I will not be playing over xmas 🙁

Dead Rising. Unbelieveable zombie survival game. It's almost required that you have an HDTV to play, though.

Also Gears of War.

Gears of War is INCREDIBLY short. I bet it twice the first 2 days, and that was on hardcore/insane. Didn't even play for that long. Not to say it isn't extremely fun though.

Rainbow Six is much harder in single player and I thought the campaign was longer.

Oblivion is a great choice if you haven't played it on PC. It will consume a lot of your time to beat it. And even then you can replay it to use a different class, etc.

I also thought Dead Rising was just OK, didn't see why everyone likes it as much as they do...

A monitor works just fine for that game too, although I agree that HDTV >>>> monitor 😛.

Just remember that if you get Dead Rising, you'll probably hate the save system and want to kill Otis. Just remember, there's an Achievement for answering all of his calls 😉.
