help me pic out a digital camera

dell has a good deal on digital camera right now...
im thinkin about getting one w/ 3MP... cant seem to decide which one. ive read reviews and such
was wondering if ppl here can give me some good suggestions

my selections are:


canon Powershot S230 compact 3.2Mpixel digital camera $399 - auto 10% off -5% = $342

canon s30 same price as above

Kodak Easyshare DX4330 Zoom 3.3Mpixel 3x optical zoom digital camera $299.95 - 10% off - 5% = $256


Sony DSC-P71 Cyber-shot Digital Camera $349.95 - 10% off -5% = $299

budget? canon s45 is $425 at dell right now, but there is gonna be quite long of a wait.

The s230 supposedly about a month (mid-late February).... but who knows with dell. You can cancel your order with them and find out months later they charged you and shipped your item.

Get this sony...it will cost $450, but well worth it with the Carl Zeiss optics.

I actually have a Canon S110 digital and an EOS film camera, and love both of them. I am not a Sony fan, but a Carl Zeiss fan. Great optics, and a smart move by Sony.

I have a Canon S100 and it works great. Small and easy to carry anytime. The biggest draw back for me at least is its small zoom and it can't take pictures in the dark well at all.
