I have no luck on these pair :(
I use corsair ddr333 512mb memory
Gefore2gts and 2 ibm drive (raid 0)
I try to increase the bus speed from 100 to 133
I increase the vcore to 1.6, and lock the agp/pci 66/33
I left the memory timing auto by spd ( I dont know how to set this up)
When I save the setting and the computer rebooted, nothing happened.
I have to hold the power button for 10 second to turn it.
When I turn it back on, I am back in the bios safe mode.
Could it because I have an old bios?? I had this board for 6 months now.
I really like to reach 2.4 with my setup ( I have 2 exactly same computer and none of the overclockable right now )
Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

have you tried a lower FSB?
try something like 110 just to see if it works, and if it does, try higher.. find out the max... if it becomes unstable or doesn't boot at a certain point, sadly you may have reached the end of your journey.

A bios upgrade would be the last thing to do as it is pretty risky to screw up your motherboard. I don't see why you cannot reach 133FSB unless your cpu's are at the end of their line. As the previous poster said, try increasing your FSB bit by bit with default voltage first always.

Also set your fsb/memory ratio to 1:1 to bring the memory out of it. Are you running one or two sticks of ram? :)

It appears that you may have gotten a 'lazy' chip. My 1.8a which I purchased last April could never get to 133FSB. It topped out at 125...a few others have hit this wall as well with their 1.8a chips. It seems more recently purchased 1.8a chips fare better. Still, a 25% increase was better than nothing. I know there wasn't a problem with the rest of my system as my 1.6a goes to 141FSB. Overclocking is never guaranteed to get to any particular level. Sorry to say, but better luck next time.

On a note about the BIOS...my current is version F8. When I updated to F10c my system wouldn't boot at 141FSB, so I've gone back to F8. The latest isn't always the greatest...although I didn't keep it long enough to possibly find benefits in any other areas.

My first 1.8A (purchased back in February) wouldn't do over 134/135FSB either. I just ran it at 130 for a while till I traded it to my buddy. That's the breaks of the OC game.:)

I have the same combo and can't get higher than FSB 133 either, and i am running at 1.7V. Maybe i'll slap in a 2.26b soon an go for 3 GHz.

Well what do you know, I must of did something, but this time I successfully overclock my 1.8a. Not much, but still much better that wat it was. I am now running 2.358 with 131fsb and 66/33 agp/pci lock. To get this setup to run stable I need to push the Vcore to 1.7V. I ran prime95 for 24 hours while hosting web and exchange server on win2k for a few of my friends and it is stable. Then I try to drop the Vcore to 1.65V and prime95 stopped after 25 minutes. Well someone suggest in my other post that this could be because my power supply sucks. Well After reading many post, I found out that many people agreed that Vcore above 1.7V is dangerous, and could reduce your CPU life. What scared me is that my Vcore actualy read 1.78V in my asus probe, and evertime I reboot the computer always come up with bios error telling me to check the hardware monitor. The hardware monitor read the vcore of 1.70V - 1.73V. I normally just click F1 to continue. How long does a Overclocked CPU normally last ?? Expecially in my condition right now ?? average ??
Btw what bios version you guys currently use ???

Thanks for alot of the info, I sure hope to have better luck next time.
