Urgh...everytime I open a link in a new window in Internet Explorer, it opens in a non-maximized window.

Someone please help me out opening these in a maximized window..thanks a TON !

I did select in the shortcuts I have for IE to open in maximized, tried resizing windows to near maximized size and everything, but it only keeps opening in a certain window size.

 
Close EVERY kind of explorer or internet explorer window.

Open up a IE window, and stretch it out to be full screen, but don't maximise it. Close this window. There is no way i've found to have it ALWAYS open full screen, but doing this will make it open up a window that's stretched right out.

I concur with confused...

I have never been able to get a link to open in a new maximized window in IE 6. So I just make the IE 6 window as big as my screen, but not 'maximized' and use that.

Does the same thing in the end.
