OK, after doing research here and elsewhere, I've come up with a more concise summary:

I think I've decided on an 8800GT card... well, once they're back in stock.

Still unsure about the mobo - thinking ASUS P5K-E. Any thoughts on that one?

Just ordered an MSI GF 8800GT from Dell for $225.41 after tax. Hopefully it'll ship before Christmas.

That really is a pretty massive case, if I recall correctly. I don't see too many expansion cards on your list.

You're right, it's a rather large case. For the time being, I don't need any expansion cards. I intend to use the on-board audio and hook that up through my stereo. I'll also be using just one video card. What I may need down the road is a SATA RAID card or possibly some sort of eSATA expansion card for a direct attached storage array. I like the case overall, though - it looks nice, offers good cooling and is pretty silent.
