Hi all, I read the Macbeth in modern translation over at sparknotes.com, answered close to 100 questions over 5 acts, yet I don't know how to answer this question:

Macbeth is sometimes cited as an example of ?the villain as hero.? Do you agree? Explain your answer.

Thanks 🙂

Do your own damn homework.

Done, thanks 🙂
steered me in the right direction, and this is what I wrote:
Macbeth was portrayed as a "bad guy", but really it?s just the course of events messed with him, and he was powerless to prevent it. Macbeth is a protagonist, even though he isn?t a ?good guy?.
