Anybody know how to do these? We are doing review from last semester and I got mostly everything, but I cant seem to remember how to do these problems. Help me out if you can. Thanks.

Semiconductors made from elements in Groups 3A(13) and 5A(15) are typically prepared by direct reaction of the elements at high temperature. An engineer treats 43.7 g molten gallium with 20.4 L white phosphorus vapor at 515 K and 195 kPa. If purification losses are 6.2% by mass, how many grams of gallium phosphide can be prepared?

When 1.330 g of white phosphorus are dissolved in 61.0 g of CS2, the solution boils at 46.709°C, whereas pure CS2 boils at 46.300°C. The molal boiling-point elevation constant for CS2 is 2.34°C/m. Calculate the molar mass of white phosphorus.

figured out the first one. Just remembered kPa it was kilopascals. I was thinking it had something to do with partial pressures.

Working on the second one now.
