help me out with a gts anomaly (strange)

ok just got my oewm geforce2 card and popped it in and installed UT on both win98 and win2000.

heres what i have:

p3@800
256pc133 micron registered ram
geforce2
msi6069 via motherboard with agp driver installed

in win98 the mouse is super laggy in resolutions higher than 800x600 @ 16 bit, and i barely get 30 fps.. i was terribly dissapointed last night since i got better on my tnt2.

BUT

when i installed it in win2k this morning it cruised at 1024x768 @ 32 bit @ 60+ fps!!!
which is what it should be i assume, and no mouse lag.

question is, why is my win98 acting up soooooo bad????

Did you reinstall the drivers after you changed the cards? Try to first install the "Standard AGP Card", then reboot, then install the latest detonators.

yes i did, the 6.35 drivers i believe, did it for both win98 and win2k

Hmmm...what bout the VIA AGP GART drivers?
