Help me out wioth memory please!

Okay, I am getting a IP35-E motherboard with 2x Corsair TWIN2X20486400C4DHX (4GB Total).
My motherboard default is 1.8V DIMMs, can I just plug in these memory sticks in to their DIMMs, in the BIOS up the DIMM Voltage to accommodate what the memory sticks want, set them to 800MHz and that's it?
If not, must I mess with all the FSB:Memory ratios and overclock the CPU etc? because I really don't want to do that, perhaps the memory automatically installs itself to 800MHz?

So basically, can I set them to 800MHz or must I do like 1:1.20 ratio etc?
I really hope all I have to do is set it to 800MHz in BIOS and that's it 🙂
If it unfortunately is a longer process, I would highly appreciate a guide that is safe from completely destroying my machine 🙂
 
Is there not a performance difference in those 2? I was told there is a bit of difference, but if it is not noticeable (Or as good as no ddifference) for playing games like world of warcraft, warhammer 40k, crysis, ut. Then yes please, I'll gladly save myself 60 Euros on buying 2 kits of C5 🙂

I'm also guessing the Corsair Dominator Airflow Fan I was planning on buying works on these aswell? They have identical looks to Dominator memory modules
 
I misread your reply a little bit too, you had a twin2x4096, they cost a whole lot more than just buying 2 kits. Don't 2kits work just as fine, aswell?

Also, is there any point of 4gigabytes of ram for gaming? or is it mainly for photoshop, rendering, etc
 
Within the next year or so, 4gb will be VERY useful for gaming. Currently, 2gb is enough for most.

As for 2 modules vs 4 modules, you can go either way. The P35 chipsets do a pretty good job of running 4 up. However, 4 modules typically take a bit more tuning and tweaking, especially if you are OCing.
 
I'm not OCing, I'll pick up one kit for now and later when games demand more if I end up playing those games, fill up with another should be easy enough, saves me some cash too since I can buy the dominator fan at a later time

I may decide of getting 8500 Dominator modules with a GA-P35-DS3 motherboard. It supports 1066memory and starts at a voltage of 1.8.
All I have to do is up the voltage and set them at 1066 in BIOS and it's done? I don't have to overclock the CPU and the like?
I would just like a fairly clean and a yes/no kind of answer to be able to decide my purchase, do fill out with comments if you so wish - but a strict and clean answer is highly appreciated by you or anyone with the correct knowledge 🙂

PC8500 is for people who overclock, and own a processor with a low multiplier. You'd get much more of a performance boost by buying PC4200 RAM, and overclocking your processor 30 or 40 Mhz, than you would by buying PC8500. And if the RAM you end up buying needs more than 1.8v of vdimm, and won't boot with two sticks installed (almost all will, with the P35 chipset), all you'd have to do is remove one stick, then raise your vdimm in the BIOS, then shut down and install the other stick.
