Help me out if you owned the HEC 6C28 case

Long story short, I bought a comp custom built in this case (no GPU) but it won't be here before Monday at the earliest. A neighbor is selling a used 6970 for $280, I might even knock off a few bucks but he supposedly has other buyers lined up. I would get it now if I knew the card would fit. I guess I could mod the case but would lose my warranty on the case and all components as well. Anyone here own this case? How much space is there?

Can't you just measure it yourself? And check newegg for the length of the card?

he won't have the case in his possession until monday and I think he want to buy the card before then.

I think it should fit but that's just a guess.

The picture is from a review of the case I ordered, not my own otherwise I wouldn't be asking. I also contacted the reviewers, the OEM and the boutique shop too but I still haven't heard from anyone. I wasn't too hopeful to begin with since the case isn't a popular one and it came out back in 2005. The card was sold this morning anyway. Yeah, GPU dimensions are all over web so I knew how big the card was from reviews. In case one is buying a GPU for a case they already own, still go and check the size from multiple sources, some sizes on the web are of the PCB and not the entire card which can also be misleading, especially with customized cooling. The case is overall 17.7" long but I didn't want to play a $280 guessing game.

EDIT 2/27/2012: Just for the remote chance of someone having the same dilemma I had, a 10.5" long video card can fit in there, provided that one hard drive slot in the bay is empty.
