Hey guys Im sratching my head here trying to remember what this movie was called.
It was about a boy and his family living in the states, and on the 4th of july or something he goes outside and encounters some sort of electrical occurance if I remember right that teleports him a few years into the future. The cause of it was a spaceship that apperently crash landed or something and gets locked away in a government facility. He is also locked away in the facility and reunites with the spaceship. On board there is the bubble headed computer guy that bonds with him and lets him control the ship etc, and towards the end of the move he gets ported back into his original time zone.
Sorry if thats vague its the best I can recall of the movies plot. Also I remember him zooming around the glove in the thing controlling it, and stopping somewhere and asking people for directions.
